The fall semester is under way and it has been a very busy two weeks! I think most student schedules are finally settled and classes are well into their first content units. My 9th grade Pre-AP Social Studies classes are busy getting to know one another as well as finding their way around Sprayberry. I hope that students and parents alike will take advantage of the easy
communication and information available by accessing and using both this blog and the teacher blogs located on the Sprayberry web site. I will be showing all my students how to access this information and how to use it to help them to be successful in their classes this semester. I will be regularly posting information for both Pre-AP Social Studies and Honors U.S. History on both this blog and my Sprayberry blog. In addition to blog communication, all students have been issued a Sprayberry agenda/planner to help in organizing and keeping up with school academic and extracurricular responsibilities. Parents please ask to see your student's planner and check the blogs. If you have any questions at all, please e-mail me at karen.carley@cobbk12.org .

I have looked on the gifted site and your blog to find out the list of books for the reading contract. I cannot remember the name of the book - something sword. Please help. Alex F.
