I hope you are all out enjoying the snowy day. Tomorrow will probably be too cold to be out so I thought I'd send out reminders for class so you can work on things while keeping warm inside tomorrow.You should be reading and taking Cornell notes on chapter 1. I will check notes on the introduction and Key Issue 1 on Tuesday. Notes on Key Issues 2 & 3 will be due by next Friday. We will have a test on chapter 1 Tuesday, January 29th. The test will be multiple choice and short essay.
If you didn't hand in the paragraph on globalization, be sure to hand it on Tuesday. We will be editing and peer editing those in class.
Also, you will turn in your questions on Episode 2 of Guns, Germs, & Steel.
Take some time this week-end to learn something about the civil rights movement. There will be much on TV in conjunction with the MLK holiday.
